Gordon Davis a retired engineer who paints for leisure and enjoyment. His theme is always  happiness and joy, which he expresses through his use of vibrant colour, and his avoidance of clouds and dull greys. He is often told, “I don’t know what it is but your paintings make me feel good.”

Featured at the Inlet Wellness Gallery are his pleine aire landscapes and flowers, what he considers the things people hunt to see. He verges on the side of expressionism, pushing a little away from reality.
