Osteopathic Service

What is Osteopathy?

Dickson Wong, Osteopathic Practitioner, MAppScOsteopathy is a hands-on therapy that aims to balance your body naturally. It combines common techniques from chiropractic, acupressure and massage into a unique way of treating you from head to toe, encouraging proper alignment and functional movement of the joints and tissues. Osteopathy was founded over 100 years ago, in 1874, but continues to evolve and adapt with each practitioner and patient. It is a science, an art, and a philosophy.

Why try Osteopathy?

Although Osteopathy is an old form of therapy started in the late 1800’s, 1800’s, it is still new to many people. Its techniques are similar to other therapies, but Osteopathy is different in its holistic approach to your health. If you want to try a hands-on approach to common aches and pains, try Osteopathy.

How long and how much is a treatment?

Normally, an osteopathic diagnosis and treatment is about 45 minutes. This will include treating not only the area of your pain, but related areas that may be contributing or may even be the real source or cause. Some Extended Health Plans include Osteopathy, so please contact your health company to confirm or request Osteopathic coverage.

Standard rate $85

Discounted rate for seniors $60

HST additional on all treatments
