Cynthia Gillanders


In 2006, Cynthia, (an artist and Registered Massage Therapist), found the perfect heritage setting in Port Moody to bring both her passions into one business. Combining Art and Wellness in this unique concept of what is now known as the Inlet Wellness Gallery,


Cynthia believes there is an interconnection between the healing benefits of therapeutic treatments and art.

Dr Daniel Wu


Dr Wu is a Traditional Chinese Medicine physician & a Registered Acupuncturist. He completed his studies at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of British Columbia. He did his internship training at the Provincial TCM Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM, China. He treats a wide variety of  conditions, including: pain, sports injury, digestive, fertility, and hormonal conditions, along with many more. Dr Wu welcomes new patients, and looks forward to supporting you to achieve optimal health through holistic medicine.

Dr Krista Braun


Dr. Krista Braun, ND has been practicing naturopathic medicine at the Inlet Wellness Gallery since 2011. By working towards health, Dr. Braun can help address any condition or ailment. Areas of common health concerns that Dr. Braun addresses include mood disturbances such as anxiety, depression & stress, insomnia, gastrointestinal disturbance, hormone imbalance including fertility and menopause, thyroid & adrenal health, and immune issues. Micheal Tremblay MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, including 10 years managing his private practice.

He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy as well as a Masters of Social Work

He has amassed countless hours of clinical experience working with all client populations.He specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, aggression and trauma, as well as family systems and parenting.

Working with Mr. Tremblay empowers his clients to participate in the healing of their selves, families and communities

Tom Brooks

Tom is a member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada as a Master Therapeutic Counsellor (MTC). he is also an ordained Pastor and CARE Counsellor. Tom has worked closely with the Ministry of Children and Families, social workers as well as Government approved adoption agencies.

His primary areas of practice with young adults, individuals, married couples and families include: Values Support, Depression Management, Anxiety Awareness and Prevention, Sexual Addiction and Sexual Reconstruction, Cognitive Re-framing, Conflict Resolution, Relationship Restoration through Empathy Re-connection. He is inclusive to people from all walks of life, sexual orientation and faiths. Tom believes that all people deserve to be helped in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard.

Sherril Munroe

Sherril has spent her career studying family health and has extensive training in individual counselling. She has focused practice experience in PTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, mood disorders and childhood trauma. Sherril is a strong believer in living life without extremes. She is passionate about knowledge and believes that with knowledge we gain the power to understand ourselves and make adjustments to live a balanced life.

Sherril graduated from Vancouver College of Counsellor Training (VCCT) in 2019 and is completing her clinical internship under supervised guidance to become registered. She is excited to grow with us as she embarks on her career as a Therapeutic Counsellor.

Cindy Fors


Cindy is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and obtained her Diploma in Holistic Nutrition and RHN designation from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN), with Honours, in 2012. In her own quest for health, and a hunger to help those around her she wanted to learn what really works. Over the years she has attended various courses specializing in Cancer and Cancer Prevention, Inflammatory Type Diseases and Detoxification.

Omer Karacay

Omer graduated from WCCMT in 2015 where he gained hands-on experience treating a variety of conditions including multiple sclerosis, stroke, and fibromyalgia. Omer also worked with University of British Columbia’s Track and Field team for an entire season on 2015. He was the Valedictorian of his class and he also has been awarded with Joe Koscak Leadership Award from West Coast College of Massage Therapy for exemplifying integrity, passion, perseverance, a passionate heart and a caring soul. Aside from being an RMT, Omer is also a RMT Instructor, a SPA Practitioner, and a Foot Reflexologist.

Nicole Brass

Nicole graduated from West Coast College of Massage in the spring of 2019. She is committed to helping her patients feel their best. She has helped patients with postural, sports related and overuse injuries to live a more pain-free lifestyle. Nicole places great value in educating her patients and empowering them to participate in their own healthcare by providing specific stretching, strengthening or postural exercises after treatment - this allows them continue to achieve improvements even after a massage treatment.

Curtis Sim

Curtis has vast experience treating many different athletes: Professional CFL football players, Jr. A hockey players, and Jr. A lacrosse players. He has completed TMJD continuing education. Jaw pain, or TMJD (can be caused from grinding, clenching, trauma, stress, etc), These treatments can prove to be quite effective in allieviating pain and jaw function.

Farrah Burke


Farrah started her journey into massage therapy in 2001 and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August of 2007. After graduating, she worked at a large spa on the North shore. For the last two years, Farrah practiced spa techniques involving hot stone, pregnancy, sports, and all the treatments related to musculoskeletal dysfunction.

Lilianne Jin

Lilianne graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2019 where she gained hands-on experience treating a variety of conditions.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and had been working for 10 years in a pharmaceutical company. Lilianne has a strong background in science and communication. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and basic Korean.  As an RMT, she will be always conscientious with her patients, using her knowledge and skills to help people achieve their optimal health and well being. 

Erica Johnston

Erica graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2017. She started her journey working at the Port Moody Recreation Complex with youth/adults. She has been a part of community events such as: dragon boat races, BC Lions training facility, BMO marathon. She has experience in rehabilitation facilities working with conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s, musculoskeletal injuries, and maintenance to improve her client’s lifestyle. Erica plans to do advanced training with a focus on athletic treatment.

Jacky Hou


Jacky has almost 20 years experience in healthcare as a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine for in China before immigrating to Canada in 2005.  One of the many treatment modalities he used as a TCM doctor was a type of massage called Tui Na Massage. Through his many years of clinical experience, Jacky has seen first hand how powerfully effective massage therapy is and the profound impact that massage has on a person's life.

Jack Dina


Jack graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2017. He has worked with a variety of conditions and continues to take courses to broaden his skills and knowledge. He has a relaxation based approach with focus on the patients overall well being. Jack was also his class representative and now teaches at the college (WCCMT). 

Alexander Zhikharev

IWG Welcomes our newest team member, Alex (Sasha) Zhikharev. Sasha is an RMT student at WCCMT expected to graduate in April 2020. Through his Kinesiology background and four years experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, Sasha has developed a strong foundational appreciation for physical and overall health through movement. In addition to his role as class representative at WCCMT, he also acts as a mentor for students in earlier semesters. Sasha’s practice embodies the belief that relaxation massage is the first step in improving clients’ physical and mental well-being.

Nicole Tecson

Nicole is a student of WCCMT set to graduate in April 2020. Nicole’s passion for helping people with a true hands-on approach is what motivated her into the field of massage therapy. She is excited to join our team as an Intern massage therapist and looks forward to helping clients with relaxation massage, while studying towards getting her RMT license where she can then add a therapeutic approach to her service. In her spare time Nicole enjoys hiking, going on food adventures and playing with her dog.


Amanda came to us in January 2017 as a practicum student after finishing her office admin assistant program. With her extensive background in customer service and sincere passion for helping those around her, she's made a wonderful addition to our front desk client support team.


Amanda is the mother of two, and enjoys spending her time outside at parks and pools. She is committed to natural wellness and healthy living. Any time she is not chasing her kids she enjoys reading or hiking somewhere quiet.


Stephanie brings an extensive marketing and customer focus background from her many years of experience working as a personal assistant for small to medium-sized local businesses. Stephanie's experience as a busy wife and mother enables her to ensure the behind the scenes operations flow smoothly. Stephanie has also been increasing the awareness of health & wellness for her whole family.
